In 2019 I achieved a Distinction in the Personal Styling Diploma at the London College of Style and completed the Advanced Colour Analysis qualificiation,

I have over 20 years experience working in the fashion, media and entertainment industries. Most recently I spent 7 years as senior management within the incredible world of Harrods Personal Shopping. Prior to that I was a Private Banker at Coutts Private Bank, managing clients in the fashion, media and sport industries. Both these incredible experiences shaped who I am today and my passion for both fashion and empowering women. They have also given me a wonderful insight into both the corporate and creative industries and the importance of your own personal brand.

Following the birth of my second child our family of four relocated from London to the Essex coast. Our relocation gave me the boost I needed to move away from the corporate world and focus on a new adventure, channeling my experience, creativity and passion for taking a more sustainable approach to fashion in a new direction. And so Accentuate was born! A wardrobe and image consultancy service that shares all the knowledge and experience I gained throughout my career to help women achieve closet confidence and make smarter style choices.

During my 20s and early 30s I had a very different relationship with fashion. My weekends were spent casually cruising the shops, checking out the latest collections and making spontaneous purchases. Fast forward to my 40s and I am far more aware of the impact Fast Fashion has on the environment. Having a positive experience getting dressed each morning impacts how I feel heading into each day and as a mother to two young children I have so many more demands on my time. Therefore, by making better, more thoughtful purchase decisions I can help you enjoy a calmer wardrobe consisting only of items that make you feel good and that have style longevity - saving precious time each morning.
